Stephanie and Katie describe govmates as a robust, proprietary database of small and emerging government contractors, all of which seek teaming partners to bid on opportunities. Each business – “govmate” – in the govmates database provides granular data about their company – past performance, contract vehicles, capabilities, set-aside status, etc. All are actively pursuing new teaming arrangements with other government contractors to win new work. Contractors seeking teaming partners – most often large prime contractors – use govmates to identify potential teammates.
