MWL Counsel Orest “OJ” Jowyk to Lead Loudoun GovCon Workshop on Security Clearances

On Thursday, November 21st 2019, MWL Counsel OJ Jowyk will lead a workshop on “Navigating Facility and Personnel Security Clearances” for the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce’s Government Contracting Committee.

Mr. Jowyk’s portion of the presentation will focus on the security concerns the U.S. Government often alleges when denying personnel security clearances and the mitigating factors that can allay those security concerns. He will be joined by an experienced facility security officer (FSO) with nuts-and-bolts expertise in administering facility and personnel security clearances.

The event will take place in the Guersney Conference Room at the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce offices at 19301 Winmeade Drive, Suite 210, Lansdowne, VA. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and the workshop will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
